The latest happenings at the Brack household!

We finally took sometime out of our busy schedules and went up the mountain. It was so much fun! I can't believe this is 5 minutes from our house and we have only been once this whole summer!

Bode found a mud puddle and him and Dax were covered! It was so fun to watch!

The Girls.....

Haylie had to be careful because she (and her sisters) danced on our glass coffee table (while we were at a wedding reception) and it broke. She cut her foot and she got 6 stitches, so she was sad because she had to keep it clean and dry. Grandma was consoling her while she watched everyone else play.

Haylie caught a bird with her bare hands with the help of Steve (cousin-in-law) at the family reunion.

Haylie and her friend bought the "Low Carb Bible" cookbook at the last book fair. They have been making recipes out of it and this is one of their creations. It was very good. I was very impressed!

The girls were on the ATC 4th of July float. Tinley was Dorothy and Haylie was the Scarecrow and Shaelee helped throw candy. It was tons of fun!

Shae pooped in the potty (only once). She will go to college in diapers. I hope she has nice roommates!

And last but not least.......Brandon finally shaved and he had a little help!

Macho Man

Look at this Macho Man! Isn't he the cutest? His sisters decided that he needed to be a little more manly so they found this mustache at Taco Bandido of all places. What a little stud!

I have joined the movement!

Ok people...I have done it. I read Twilight, the greatest book ever written. It is true, every priority I ever had (kids included) went out the window for 2 straight days as I sat on the edge of my seat captivated by the book (thank heavens for super absorbent diapers and dry cereal!). There are few things that I can say are life changing, Tai Pan, the Tropical Salad at Wild Flour Cafe and now I can add Twilight to my list. If you have not joined the movement you must! Thanks to Geanie for finally motivating me to read it! BTW-check Geanie's blog out...she's got some great info on Twilight!

Wagommer

When we went to California we were able to go to the Orange County Flea Market...always a fun place to go! Anyway, every time we have been there Brandon has always wanted to buy these huge wagons, but we always flew so we could not get it home. This time we drove, but we were loaded! I told Brandon to get one only IF he could somehow get it home without having to ship it. Well, after a late night run with Chris to Home Depot they strapped it to the top of the car. It made a nice soothing humming noise the whole way home, that at times forced Grandma Brack to plug her ears. But, the girls now take turns sleeping it.

Shaelee's life is complete! She ran up to "Bobbie" and threw her arms around him and gave him a huge kiss.

The whole Brackenbury clan just got back from our first official California trip and man it was fun! We spent 3 days at Disneyland, a day at the beach, a day at Sea World, and a day at the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. It was tons of fun and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the great trip! It was awesome.

Mack Daddy Dax!

This is my adorable nephew Daxton....he just got his first faux-hawk haircut. He is a hottie! Geanie was taking his pictures while I was on the phone chatting with her. He was workin' it and ownin' it as he modeled, but she told Dax to pose for Aunt Carie and this is the one.....I think I got the money shot! Sorry ladies he's taken (by his Aunt Carie!). What a pimp!! Love ya buddy!
